    Pros

Good work environment, benefits, and a lot of actual focus on improving service and quality of education.

    Cons

Tiny town, very limited life outside of work. Also, lots of crime and poverty, the town really is polarized. There's still a lot of disconnect between university values, goals, and planning due to a lot of revising. There don't seem to be more (if any) tenure track positions opening.

    Advice to Management

The management is perhaps biting off more than it can chew in the sense of trying to be too many things: a community college, quality education, and improving student graduation and retention.

    Pros

The work was very good. I enjoyed working as a student employee. The hours were very flexible and the people are very friendly.

    Cons

The cons was that there was not enough money. They need to pay people more than what they work for. But other than that it was good.

    Pros

There has been a complete turnover in the department so its a "fresh start" If you want to work in housing this would be a decent "first" job. Salary is $27000, furnished apartment, meal plan and $1000 summer stipend. Very long hours, rotational on call schedule, and a questionable fire alarm system. Training wise was none existent at the time. With the new director and a change in focus training should be excellent. Health benefits are good.

    Cons

Lots of cloak of dagger behind the scenes more so than other institutions.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you have ALL the facts before making decisions.

    Pros

Met some very fantastic individuals both students and faculty. Learned more than I ever before I started college and traveled more than I ever did over the country as a student.

    Cons

Boring in the down times due to the region and area. But it could be just what I made it

    Advice to Management

Keep students engaged more. All of them require it.
