    Treated like errand person in some school (TES) not allowed to advance and learn to apply knowledge

    Pros

    Worked as a bus driver, other than the hours worked out well with my school schedule, there really were no Pros.

    Cons

    The pay is bad, the routes were long and they didn't want to pay accordingly.

    Pros

    The people I work with are great especially the custodians, maintenance department, and food service. CCSD gets education right.

    Cons

    No pre-employment drug testing employees except the bus drivers.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the great work. You guys are the best.

    good admin/principal, helpful colleagues, tons of resources,

    budget cuts, biggest middle school in the state

    Pros

    Decent pay and benefits and the jobs are rewarding for anyone who enjoys working with students.

    Cons

    If you're classified staff, be prepared to be treated like the "hired help" by certified teachers and the administrators.
    There's very little training offered for classified employees.

    Advice to Management

    It's not an easy process to be hired on, which means those who are hired already posess the required skills , experience, references, and/or education to qualify for employment with CCS. Encourage your adminstrators and certified staff to treat classified staff like grown, responsible adults and less like clueless,12 year old students.
