I worked at Campbell Soup Company full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Considerable learning curve and high quality intelligent co-workers.

    Cons

Unable to compete in the space of custom soups for the positions we were hired for so entire division was let go. Many good employees were let go as a result of a failure to change or evolve processes. We lost out on considerable opportunities to gain a foothold in National Accounts with high value customers due to develop timelines and production costs to considerably smaller companies with less resources.

I have been working at Campbell Soup Company full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Campbell's strives to provide a professional, yet relatively casual culture. The pay is good for the region and the little extra's like half day Friday's in the summer go a long way. Also, Campbell employees are generally very kind and helpful.

    Cons

Big food is in a tough place as an industry . Campbell's is struggling to stay relevant with the new consumer. Layoffs have been an annual occurrence and it's taking a toll on morale.

    Advice to Management

Management is saying all the right things; however, there needs to be more follow through. The only things that seem to be happening according to plan are cuts to headcount and benefits.
