I worked at Campus Crest part-time for less than a year
Pros – potential to make ok money if you sign TONS of leases
good experience cold calling people
Cons – Management is poor locally, regionally.
Pay is AWFUL (minimum wage)
Corporate does not listen to lower management and is very inefficient when dealing with lower level managers
Do not understand target market or local communities at all
Advice to Senior Management – Before investing and building, survey the local area including expectations from students on what they want in housing and expect to pay for housing. Offer unfurnished apartments. Hire more management so things run more smoothly. Pay CA'S $2 an hour above minimum wage. If you are underpaid you do not work at 100%, if your quotas are unrealistic you will not strive to obtain them.

I worked at Campus Crest full-time for more than a year
Pros – Free Apartment - Free Cable
Cons – Work 24/7
underpaid, overworked
high turnover
going after a 18 yr old when they break an agreement
mold and cheap buildings
Advice to Senior Management – Have more full time staff less part time staff, let students out of their agreements if needed, heartless, community normally hates the groves, cheap furniture,

I have been working at Campus Crest
Pros – worked well with college schedule
Cons – very little pay
make you live in the apt. on site
poor management
poor development of property
etc.
Advice to Senior Management – Appreciate the employees more , that would create a stable work environment . Treating the employees as they are disposable never works in a large company.
