Underpaid but gives you good sales experience as a leasing agent

Leasing Agent (Former Employee)
Muncie, IN

I worked at Campus Crest part-time for less than a year

Prospotential to make ok money if you sign TONS of leases
good experience cold calling people

ConsManagement is poor locally, regionally.
Pay is AWFUL (minimum wage)
Corporate does not listen to lower management and is very inefficient when dealing with lower level managers
Do not understand target market or local communities at all

Advice to Senior ManagementBefore investing and building, survey the local area including expectations from students on what they want in housing and expect to pay for housing. Offer unfurnished apartments. Hire more management so things run more smoothly. Pay CA'S $2 an hour above minimum wage. If you are underpaid you do not work at 100%, if your quotas are unrealistic you will not strive to obtain them.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
