Pros – Restructured Management that wants to improve the product, improve customer satisfaction, and improve employee satisfaction and retention
Cons – The company is struggling trying to combine with an acquisition from over 3 years ago.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees, new and old.

I have been working at Campus Management Corporation full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – * There are great people across departments to work with daily
* Opportunities for change in job roles present themselves frequently
* Benefits such as paid time off are very generous
* The pay is very competitive based on my analysis
* Company has been stable for the many years I have been here and continues to grow
Cons – * There is a lot of change occurring this past year which is very challenging at times
* The company does run lean which is healthy, however it does increase the pace that others need to work at
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to focus on employee satisfaction and refining our infrastructure with respect to our tools.

I have been working at Campus Management Corporation full-time for less than a year
Pros – As a new employee with Campus Management I have felt welcomed and appreciated from the beginning. I was offered a very competitive salary and the holiday/paid vacation is more than adequate. I was not looking for a job when I was contacted by the HR department and I had already turn down a couple of offers before accepting to join Campus so my decision was not solely based on the benefits offered but on the reputation of the company too.
After 3 months on the job, I was encouraged to participate in a workshop designed to help my development with the company and I took full advantage of it.
Nice people to work with.
Cons – We are going through a phase of transition and growth in our search for new leadership and this new chapter does not come without challenges. Some people thrive on new situations; others prefer to plan and prepare in advance. I wish that communication was a little bit more forthcoming or widespread but I am confident that this transition will also provide great opportunities for personal and organization development.
Advice to Senior Management – You have lots of competent people, use their skills to your advantage and the company’s. Processes should be reviewed regularly for optimum outcome.

Cons – Management kills all of the good ideas.

I have been working at Campus Management Corporation full-time
Pros – Campus (CMC) is always fine tuning many processes/procedures to become more efficient with better quality and each day the progress becomes more evident.
As a customer facing employee, it was sometimes difficult to discuss the positives when a client had issues. Now, I am very encouraged and look forward to these discussions because I believe in the direction CMC is headed.
New employees at the senior level appear to know what it takes and in my experience management will back their employees.
One thing I have enjoyed about CMC, versus previous companies, is the openness and the communication from the top down. Rarely do I feel left in the dark or blind sided.
It is a pleasant environment and my co-workers are great! There are very few times am i stressed out at the end of the day.
Cons – Insurance changed my first year.
Sometimes various groups have poor communication with each other, but I have seen recent changes in this area so I am expecting this to improve.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to move forward and not remain stagnant in old ways. Change can be good in an environment as dynamic as ours. I personally would like to see more SLAs. I believe it is a form of accountability and brings the best out of people and earns the trust of customers.

I have been working at Campus Management Corporation full-time
Pros – Colleagues are great, work is challenging
Cons – Processes are lacking, some staff are quick at finger-pointing, the culture is demanding and stressful and long hours are often required, morale is low and recent layoff/ RIF has not helped, the leadership team is in in flux. Management has spoken forever about product quality but it still seems to be a struggle to ensure that this is "baked in". Off shore development in India presents its own challenges.

I worked at Campus Management Corporation for more than 7 years
Pros – Free Starbucks coffee and .25 cent soda.
Cons – Senior management is especially incompetent and in a few cases disrespectful to employees. Morale is really low.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire leadership that actually has a clue how to create next generation software and if it’s not too much to ask, knows how to get it to market before this decade comes to its close. Another word of advice, try respecting your most valuable asset, your employees. They are the only ones who will help make you successful. Good luck.

I worked at Campus Management Corporation full-time for more than a year
Pros – Pay was quite competitive and more than adequate for my position. I was able to gain experience in technologies with which I had previously worked, but with which I was still not completely comfortable. I was given the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals across all functional areas of the company and was even given opportunities to work with and impress senior management. Co-workers are friendly and do a great job to engender a sense of unity and camaraderie.
Cons – The company seems to take an approach to supporting their products that is too noncomittal. They maintain a support presence in the U.S. rather than off-shore and pay their support personnel competitively. However, they did not commit to the practice of offering off-hours support in a meaningful way, instead relying on an "on-call" schedule that was far too reliant on a group of a few individuals, a number of whom could be considered inadequately trained for the responsibility this entailed.
They additionally made little effort to foster the development of their employees. Individuals with goals outside or above the support department were not given opportunities to improve or demonstrate additional capability, and training to provide additional skills for higher positions was not made available.
We were told that Time-off, both vacation and paid holidays, offered by the company was "in line" with the amount offered by other local companies by a member of the executive staff, but the amount given was inadequate given the hours and schedules senior management expected of employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Do more to foster the abilities of your employees and encourage them to grow within your company. Offer a more realistic vacation/holiday package to people who are regularly requested(ordered) to put in extra hours for the good of the organization.

Pros – The level of expertise and work ethic of the people sitting in the seats!! If you have the right team, you are a lucky person and can actually enjoy working there.
Cons – The hours that are expected to work with little to no recognition. Managers are handcuffed and new employees come in ready to spread their wings but are clipped just like the other employees that have been there for years.
Advice to Senior Management – Executives, please stop saying you care and want to make things better - JUST DO IT. You pay a lot for top talent, so why not use their experience, input and knowledge???
