    ProsLots of training, both formal and on the job. Good work life balance. They do pay your membership fees for your professional designation. One of the better government agencies to work in that actually has work for you to do.

    ConsSlow paced administration due to too many policies.

    ProsAbility to move up, people are nice, flexibility and not stressful.

    ConsStill bureaucratic but that's government. Old computer systems need to be updated. Pay isn't high compared to private sector.

    ProsGreat pension, great salary, job security and stability, what not to like? Lunch and learns, team meetings and work. Working for the government is always a win-win.

    ConsNo cons, just great. A great agency.with many great employees. Please never look past a job posting from the CRA. It is a golden ticket to your future. Freedom 55.

    ProsGreat Pay, Comprehensive Training, Friendly Co-workers, Paid Leave, Amazing team leaders. The big boss was really involved with workers. They had lots of employee appreciation events... it's a really great work environment.

    ConsIts definitely a high pressure job, but you learn to let the bad call just roll off you, and they aren't even that common as long as you're friendly and understanding.

    ConsWork can be monotonous and lack of recognition, from top to bottom, needs to be better demonstrated. give positions based on work, not competencies.

    Advice to Senior ManagementTalk to your employees as they are in the front line and have a wealth of experience and knowledge that can be shared. Interact with other divisions and have more on loan opportunities.
