I have been working at Candy Kitchen part-time for more than a year
Pros – The owners and managers treat employees like family, which makes them feel supported and compelled to work hard. Coworkers are friendly, and tasks are divided among us fairly. The job itself is fun, since you get to help and speak with happy customers - happy, of course, because they are receiving ice cream and candy!
Cons – Not enough hours (I work about 15 hours a week), which makes it difficult to make sufficient money. As much as I like the equality, I wish hours were allocated according to personal factors - for example, if you are a college student working seasonally, you should work more than year-round high school students or older employees with second jobs.
Advice to Senior Management – Update scheduling methods (see cons).
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
