Bangalore (India)

Current Employee – been working at Capco full-time for less than a year

ProsCapco provides a techno-functional role to an individual. The packages in which Capco majorrly works, murex and openlink, have very few consultants across the globe. So that gives a key strength to our career.

ConsNone, i think, as of now

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep getting good projects with great clients, and give us chances to interact with them the way you do now.

ProsGood pay , infrastructure, leave policies, insurance cover and no variable pay up to M4 level.

The approvals for loan is quick, and there are good amount of parties being celebrated on business wins, I heard this to have started since this year.

ConsFew projects are too work intensive and demand more then 8 hrs along with weekends.

Toronto, ON (Canada)

Current Employee – been working at Capco full-time for more than a year

ProsEasy access to senior people who you can learn a lot from
Chance to participate in high level strategy projects

ConsMPs tend to create an hostile atmosphere at many projects and treat employees as second class citizens
Always the same type of short, high level projec. Lacking in real substance
The company tries to promote an own culture, while in reality, things are different…be aware of many false advertisements and many broken promises
Projects are too intensive work wise and demand more then 8 hrs. along with weekends

Advice to Senior ManagementEither give better perks or treat people better, otherwise, you will not be able to retain employees too long

Former Employee – worked at Capco as a contractor for less than a year

ProsHighly brilliant people/consultants, good executive management and clear objectives so you felt like you knew what was going on and your contribution to the whole.

ConsMy contract was too short (6 months) and would work for them again.

Bangalore (India)

Current Employee – been working at Capco full-time for less than a year

ProsNumerous perks, small and close-knit teams, lots of parties, easily accessible upper management, fun atmosphere, cool hardware to work with.

ConsProject requires extra working hours, not many indoor facilities, limited recreational options, project has reduced my skill-set from my previous work experience.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou shouldn't tax the employees with extra work on a regular basis, otherwise the perks given won't hold for long in retaining an employee.

Current Employee – been working at Capco full-time for less than a year

ProsCapco allows us to be adults with little monitoring or limiting of our computer website access. Additionally, the North America CEO tours project sites and meets with staff in round table sessions to hear concerns and learn what works and does not work first hand. The company is growing rapidly, but is still small enough for this.

ConsPolitics and a insufficient on-boarding support.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave more Friday events for those of us who travel all week. That way we can network and learn from or help others grow and develop. Have more brown-bag, call in and classroom training sessions.

Former Employee – worked at Capco

ProsNice NYC office (alebit in downtown...no one is downtown anymore), good exposure to senior management if you make an effort, if you like PMO this is your place.

ConsPoor compensation and no signing bonuses, all PMO and staff aug work. The project based opportunities are large scale tech implementation (PMO nonsense) where utilizing your brain is frowned upon. Senior management in NA is European and they have no sense of the culture / drivers of the US market. Bonuses over 5K are distributed semi-annually as management knows people will take the money and run elsewhere

Advice to Senior ManagementPay people accordingly; the bonus structure is pathetic. Your blogs where you constantly make fun of American traditions annoys everyone. Stop watching soccer on the TV's in the office and try to sell some decent engagements.
