Pros
good work and life balance. You can choose your career path. The assignments are not compulsory to take and you can deny if you have other opportunity in pipeline.
Cons
The company follow typical onshore offshore model. Still it's presence is more at onshore. So lot of dependency on pnshore folks.
Pros
Flexible timings,Okay Onsite opportunities,located in main cities in india and hence easy to relocate.
Cons
No proper management
No good projects
management hardly listens to their subordinates
Role is mostly drivn by requirement at hand but not based on the interest and skill level f the employee
Advice to Senior Management
give more importance to subordinates
Ensure that people who are working at clients are treated properly
Pros
1. Work Life balance
2. No Swipe in and Swipe out
2. Can negotiate for good salary at the time of joining
Cons
1. Ineffective leadership within the organization (atleast at Enterprise Application unit)
2. Pathetic Onsite travel policies. They expect the employee to fund the organization for onsite travels
3. No direction where they want to take this company to
4. On one hand associates are on bench in FS practice and on other than they hire at Non-FS practice. When questioned as to why do not use the bench empployees within FS for Non-FS project, simple answer that these are 2 different entities. Though in most of the leadership meeting, they try to convey that we are ONE Capgemini.
Looking at the way the organization worked, i decided to move out of it within one year of joining it

Pros
Good work-life balance;

Cons
Very tribal culture (some can do more than others depending on who you are friends with);
no system for recognition of good work (a pat on the back is the most you can hope for);
very poor benefits and no meaningful salary increases;
no talent management policies / schemes;
Pros
They have a great reputation.
New on-boarding program is fantastic (2 months spread between India and America)
There are endless opportunities.
There is flexibility to drive your career in the direction you want.
There are less political barriers to get through than other consulting firms.
