I worked at Capgemini full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Capgemini offers you a fantastic opportunity to work on large and international projects. They have an incredible pool of talented people and work with some very interesting clients. Whether you see this as a springboard or a job for the longer term it is a very good way to accelerate your career.

    Cons

When working as a consultant you will sometimes move rapidly from one client to the next and if you don't work on one of the larger projects it may be difficult to build good relationships with your colleagues. They do somewhat compensate for this by spending time and resources on social activities in and outside the office.

    Cons

Not a terrible place to work

I have been working at Capgemini

    Pros

Some people work ridiculous hours, some don't. I'm in the category of people that don't. I work my set schedule, then go home. I have some managerial duties after hours that won't apply to 90% of the folks hired.

    Cons

You can only move up once per year, if you start in January, you will wait a minimum of 2 years to get a promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Loosen up the "everyone gets promoted at one time" model.
