    Pros

    Great place to work, where there is:
    Variety in roles and projects
    A great support network
    Good work life balance
    Opportunity to drive your own career path

    Cons

    Not too many cons, however one con is in the area of salary - it is not very competitive when compared.

    Pros

    If you are a techy then you can rule the project such as easy onsite, promotions.....

    Cons

    1. Ruining the freshers future - Worst training
    2. Hiring team - They will hire people who don't even know how to write hello world program nor basic select statement
    3. Senior and middle management will take ages to learn about new technologies
    4. Manangers don't how to pinch in with the client to get a new projects and openings

    Advice to Management

    Please provide adiquate training for all managers. They might have good coding skills in Maingframe but that will not work with today technologies

    Pros

    Provided the opportunity to meet and build relationships with people from different backgrounds. I was presented with opportunities to work on things that broadened my scope of expertise.

    Cons

    The leadership did not necessarily invest a great time behind individual success within the company. It would have been nice for some to really care about one's success as they reach different milestones within the company.

    Merely luck based resource allocation

    Cons

    developers are treated very bad in terms of performance grading and benefits are diminishing

    Extremely diverse workforce, collaborative culture

    Need to look beyond meeting the current quarter and invest on longer-term capabilities

    Pros

    Capgemini has a very entrepreneurial environment which allows flexibility in support of our clients.

    Cons

    Current North American Leadership has not followed the Group tag line “People Matter, Results Count” Unlike other areas of the world, this is not a value that they follow in North America. Also way too political in NA!

    Advice to Management

    North American Leadership really needs to put more effort on their people. Capgemini is in the business of people. So instead of pretending that you care, its time to act on “People Matter, Results Count

    Pros

    Capgemini has an excellent benefits package and most co-workers are very intelligent. Overall I was very satisfied with my employment there and only wish I could have avoided a reduction in force through a reassignment within the company. Compensation was very good.

    Cons

    Leadership is struggling to win business in the Cloud services space. Rate cards tend to be on the higher end and make it hard for Capgemini to compete with Indian pure-plays. Not enough bench talent, leading to subcontracting that eats into profit margins.

    Advice to Management

    Utilize offshore resources more frequently and more intelligently. Employ more enterprise architects, expecially for pursuit support.

    Salary, benefits, number of offices

    Cons

    Always trying to be in the Champions league but when RFPs come out we only bid on second-tier ones with second-tier solutions.

    I have been working at Capgemini

    Pros

    Some people work ridiculous hours, some don't. I'm in the category of people that don't. I work my set schedule, then go home. I have some managerial duties after hours that won't apply to 90% of the folks hired.

    Cons

    You can only move up once per year, if you start in January, you will wait a minimum of 2 years to get a promotion.

    Advice to Management

    Loosen up the "everyone gets promoted at one time" model.
