    Pros

    ESOP, paid leaves, brand name

    Cons

Management cares more about resource's bill-ability rather than employee's career aspirations.
Takes advantage of employee's work-permit situation.
Appears to be a typical staffing company sometimes.
Appears to be an Indian firm with majority of offshore employees working in the US and only a few local US-hires

    Advice to Management

Understand employee's concerns and career aspirations to retain them.
Partner with clients instead of random staffing for billability

    Pros

    1. Healthy work environment
    2. Competitive Salary
    3. Leadership Interact is very frequent
    4. If you want you can take up your area of interest to pursue your career.
    5. Challenging work which would give you opportunity to learn a level above your role.
    6. Opportunity to perform roles & responsibility a level above your current role.
    7. Freedom of speech.
    8. Your opinion/suggestion ACTUALLY matters in this company and most of the time it is taken in consideration.
    9. Excellent international assignment opportunity.

    Cons

    1. Not a process driven company - they are still improvising the existing processes to come up with a robust process.
    2. Annual hike is not very good so negotiate well at the first place when you join the company.

    Advice to Management

Need to come up with some employee friendly concrete policy and improve the annual hike.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Decent work life balance
Opportunities to work on cutting edge technology
In most case, well qualified teams

    Cons

    Too much bureaucracy
Too much focus on cutting cost and competing with Pure Indian Players
No salary increments for most employees within last few years

    Advice to Management

Please listen to people who are working in the front line. Be fair and give your employees fair market salary increments, otherwise you will lose most of your high performing talent.

    Pros

Great people, depending on the practice, business unit the growth across the firm can vary, I was in a high growth practice which meant loads of experience, good bonus, decent increments in base salary. The organization is clearly going in the right direction although it needs to get more aggressive. I had a great Boss

    Cons

All the typical negatives of consulting, constant travel, work life balance. Capgemini does not pay as well as some of the other big five audit firms, but still overall is a highly recommended

    Advice to Management

Be more aggressive while chasing opportunities
HR function needs to be more pro active in employee management
Some of the india centric policies are detrimental to the employee satisfaction
