I have been working at Capgemini

    Pros

Possibility of having a highly dynamic work experience.
Possibility of getting staffed in a great city and enjoying all the travel perks.
Possibility of getting staff at great clients.

    Cons

The company is very large and does a bad job at providing a unified/standardized work experience.
The company feels disconnected and segregated.
A lot of the processes the company has in place for employees are stupid, useless and archaic.
Likelihood (depending on project/client) of a bad work/life balance.
Little control over your career growth and direction.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to start caring about their people more than they do about themselves.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

A lot of young, dynamic people work here.

Opportunity to travel / work / live abroad is very good.

    Cons

Career path left totally up to you. Great if you are strong willed enough to do it all yourself, sucks if you can't schmooze internally.

Lack of quality clients. Too many that want something for nothing and ask you to spend more time documenting your time than allowing you to actually do work.

Talk about training but it's frowned a upon you if actually want to go to a class, seminar, or vendor training opportunity,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't be afraid to say no to clients who aren't worth the time.

Don't be afraid to fire bad clients. Don't chase minimal $$$ just to have a project.

Your Seniors and Managers need to be on the same page. Too many have their own agendas leaving first years to find their own way.

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Capgemini

    Pros

Vacation starting off is great1 We get 15 days plus 2 additional personal days. Competitive pay. Staff Aug roles work very typical industry hours (so work life balance is a plus). Company culture is fun! I still hang out with those I trained with and everyone on my account is incredibly active. The opportunity to get involved is immediate if you reach out to people.

    Cons

Getting feedback on a Staff Aug project is tough since your reviewer hardly knows your work. Meeting revenue managed KPIs in a staff aug role is tough. You can only get promoted during two time periods per year (end of year and mid year).
