    Pros

The pros of working in the customer service center at CIG is that it is full-time, full benefits, and room to promote in the company.

    Cons

It can be a little confusing working in a virtual system but that can be overcome. Training comes remotely in the Reno office for clerks so that can be difficult since the center is split Monterey and Reno.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work management pays attention and works hard to be inclusive in employee suggestions.

    Pros

Benefits, retirement stock option plan, Health savings account, lots of employee pot lucks. It's a fairly large office so my co-workers were the best part of the job.

    Cons

They work you to death and don't give any compensation or credit. You meet your closing ratio, good job do it again next month but we are going to throw in claims you've never handled. You a call center agent setting up claims all day WHILE you try to close complex farm or commercial claims. High turnover rate because of the low pay. With the amount of work they expect you should not make less than 50K. No room for advancement either.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees better if you want to retain talented people.
