    - 100% commision based
    - NO PAY for AT LEAST 8 Weeks
    - Firm Fees for everything: cubicle, business cards, computer, software

Don't waist your time and money...

Financial Services Professional (Former Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsBack by a very good and reputable company
    Great location
Most of the people there are very friendly

ConsTheir training is terrible and it shows with their high turn over rate of new associates
Nothing is consistent with the managers and training.
There is only one manager there that is really good and cares if you make it or not

Advice to Senior ManagementDo Better! Especially Upper management. You should be more respectful of new associates especially those that are having a hard time.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Great Company!

Financial Service Representative (Former Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsBest reasons to work for them is because of all the support and guidance they provide for their agents and employees.

ConsThe downsides was the lack of one on one coaching to find prospective clients. It would make prospecting easier to have some pointers.

Advice to Senior ManagementHope that the management would provide more one on one coaching with the agents. I was pretty hard to find prospective clients.

    Capstone

Financial Services Professional (Former Employee) Atlanta, GA

ProsThe main positive is that you have the opportunity to build your own practice and business. You determine your own success.

ConsIt is a 100% commission job. Many of the positives of the job are also a negative. Building your own practice takes time.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere is only 1 decent manager who actually teaches, trains, and mentors. The others are simply there to get rich.

    This industry isn't for everyone.

    Financial Services Professional (Former Employee)

ProsFreedom to make your own schedule -- you're running your own business
Fun and nice people to work with
    Support when you need it
    Plenty of training provided

ConsExpensive to get started (insurance class and test, licensing, new computer, etc.)
Cold calling is necessary to build a sustainable practice
100% commission based, so you need to have 4-6 months worth of living expenses saved
Selling process and underwriting process can be very lengthy
