    I worked at Caradigm full-time

    Pros

Great group of people, great culture, interesting products, healthcare space makes you feel like you are doing good, fun place to work

    Cons

Original company (Sentillion) was bought by Microsoft who damaged the products, lost market to competitors, and made the company unprofitable and after being spun off as Caradigm, has been unable to recover yet.

    Advice to Management

Unfortunately you're doing about all you can to resurrect the products and get back market share, and open new markets. Hopefully this will happen before the company's time runs out

I have been working at Caradigm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Health Benefits, Stayfit allowance, Coffee Machine is decent

    Cons

Leadership are biggest bunch of jokers this side of the Atlantic. Product is a disaster and customers hate it but management wont listen - repeat they do not listen to customers! No career growth so unless you’re a junior dev or need a place to coast then it’s a bad idea

    Advice to Management

There are free Leadership courses online, otherwise please resign

I worked at Caradigm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    1) Started out like a good startup - positive - new company, new location all benefits of MSFT and GE 2) MSFT Employee Discounts, Prime Card and GE Store discounts - good benefits 3) Work locations is good

    Cons

    1) Horrible exec management - sinking ship - dir level positions not getting filled - promote within - un reasonable and undeserving candidates - some people not fit to be in positions. CTO doesn't know what he`s up to. Just .... up to the bosses and ensuring he has a job. 2) People who run call centers, people unfit to be project managers - have become Vice Presidents and Directors, women with just average skills- no management skills, become directors just because the virtue of being women - all this in a technology company 3) Racial discrimination very high - no body cares - very demeaning statements and insulting in meetings and group settings - someone teach these Dirs/Managers some manners 4) Sinking Ship

    Advice to Management

Keep good people, do not promote undeserving candidates, stop playing politics with peoples lives/careers.

    Pros

I get to work on what I want. Lots of challenging work. Interesting industry that is focused on helping people. Great people to work with.

    Cons

Somewhat corporate. Health care industry moves more slowly than others. Still working on profitability

    Advice to Management

Be careful to retain your best employees- linked in generates multiple head hunter calls every week. Really reward risk taking, not just "results". Invest more in automated test infrastructure.

    Pros

Noble product vision with exciting technologies to support integrated and growing application suite. Engaged workforce that regularly shows commitment to getting it right. Management shows flexibility to adjust, make tradeoffs to enable investments that support the uber vision/strategy. Real opportunity to have impact through the organization.

    Cons

Challenges that you might expect a startup to face in a startup in a burgeoning market space - big charter, resource constraints, tepid market.

    Advice to Management

Maintain focus on strategic objectives and continue to drive clarity around priorities.

    Pros

If you can't get a job at Microsoft this might be a building block for a junior engineer

    Cons

Leadership is clueless about the market and are ego maniacs, customers hate the product, they are burning through cash like crazy, market is a commodity play with vendors already with traction and a real-architecture

    Advice to Management

Keep spinning and maybe you will find another job before GE and Microsoft pull the plug on you jokers
