    Good benefits. Great people to

    Zero job security. salary not commensurate with position and responsibilities. Little training Very high expectation, also not commensurate with salary.

    Advice to Management

    Be true to the people who got you where you are, not \necessarily to the ones who are making all the current "improvements"

    Lots of networking events, volunteer opportunities, team building activities.

    Cons

    Hire outside before promoting from within. Work / Home life balance is not valued. Small Raises even for the top performers. Some management needs training on managing people

    Pros

    Cardinal Health is a wonderful company to work for. Competitive pay, great benefits and PTO. plenty of room for advancement, especially if you are willing to relocate.

    Cons

    Lack of proper training in some divisions. Need more job shadowing opportunities. Sometimes employees do not feel valued or appreciated

    Advice to Management

    Engage your employees more. Make sure everyone feels included and more importantly, make sure they know that they are appreciated no matter where they are or what job they are in

    Good internal opportunities for learning and resources. People are dedicated to make the company better.

    Cons

    very competitive and hard to move up. Not many bonus and employees are sometime not very appreciated or valued.

    Pros

    Great pay for manager and above employees, good benefits, involved in the community.

    Cons

    Offices are generally not the cleanliest environments, and Cardinal likes to pack employees into as little space as possible in terms of work areas. Pay structure encourages keeping employees happy where they are without much incentive to advance them into new pay ranges and greater responsibilities. Hiring as of late has been sloppy. Primary focus is financial, so if you're not in some way involved in that area of the business - good luck! Company growth is almost entirely via acquisitions.

    Pay more attention to how you accomplish goals, not just what you accomplish.

    Outside Corporate - not many.

    Cons

    Extremely ineffective training department. People are promoted by the numbers game and not their leadership ability.

    Advice to Management

    The least you can do is provide leadership to the field.
