    Pros

    The staff is competent, professional and very committed to the success of the company. Responsibility is never limited -- one can take on whatever needs attention. Work ethic is valued. The product technology is intrinsically interesting and novel.

    Cons

    Frustration at events can be misdirected. An overextended burn-rate has necessitated staff reduction. On balance, it is a fantastic place to work.

    Continue to focus on the goal -- continue to engage all employees in their investment in that goal -- Good luck!

    I have been working at CardioMEMS

    Pros

    With a small company there is a lot of experience gained and a high exposure to senior management. Also there is more flexibility.

    Cons

    A small privately funded company has financial issues. There is not a lot of development and room for growth at the company since it is small.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Try to value your employees better. Try to be honest and keep everyone in the loop regarding the financial situation and future of the company.
