    Pros

    The people and culture are fantastic here, as are the opportunities to focus on work that you are drawn to. I've had the ability to shift roles and teams during my time at the company, which has allowed me to build me resume and gain skills that I otherwise wouldn't have had.

    Cons

    Can feel like a constant fire drill from time to time, particularly around quarterly closes. Teams can also be extremely spread out and on different time zones which makes effectively meeting deadlines challenging.

    Pros

    Hierarchy doesn't matter at all, very open communication and decision making. No matter on what level you are, you will always be involved in decision making, and strategy meetings. Great work-life balance!

    Cons

    To many meetings, which makes it sometimes hard to finish the days work on time. It is also not very welcomed that you as employee come in on the weekend to finish up work.

    Less meetings with fewer people, that would make the company overall much more efficient

    I love the fact that the clients and tutors are prescreened.

    I have been working at Care.com

    Pros

    Care.com is an excellent filter between you and a potential client. The customers looking for help can have access to your pertinent information only and you have access to who they are, and what their needs are etc. You choose to whom you apply and Care.com contacts you when someone has answered you. I have set to have text and email alerts sent to me to hasten a response time. You may also be contacted without having applied if someone likes your profile and information and you can look them up before responding. Care.com also has payment options for you to choose your method of payment and has Insurance available if you have your payments go through them, which you don't have to. I suggest having a background check on file and this is available through Care.com for 16$

    Cons

    The challenges are: The prime member cost per month is rather high respectively but you don't have to pay anything to be a member, but I have garnered more attention when I am featured as a prime member. It is also imperative that you be a self motivator because you will get the most out of it when you are assertive and on top of reply's and sending applications etc..

    Flexible scheduling.
    You are your own boss.
    Families list what they are looking for in terms of care.

    Cons

    You are largely on your own and their are no benefits like insurance.

    Pros

    Flexibility but you pay for it.

    Cons

    Low salary, increasing demands and work load with no explanation or compensation. I am sure this place was a great place to work when it was a startup but they have gone public making it a very corporate environment. The place feels like a virtual sweatshop. Don't waste your time or energy you will want to quit in 6 months. Lots of 'bosses' and few 'leaders'. No support.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be good to people. Treat your employees better and then you would not have such high turnover. Compensate people who work hard for you. You treat your employees like you run your site... misleading and deceptive.
