Former Employee – worked at CareNow full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – The clinical staff truly cares about the patients that they see. Staff works very hard with some very long hours and some very sick (angry) patients. Still, the job is rewarding and very interesting. I had some of the best co-workers on the planet.
Cons – The heads of the company are pompous, arrogant, and don't care about their clinical staff.
Advice to Senior Management – Work a day in the shoes of your clinical staff
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at CareNow full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – You leave with a lot of experience. You see all different types of patients.
Cons – The company requires staff to bend over backwards for the patients and for them but they don't do the same for you. Upper management has no clue what it's like to manage at the Center Manager level as they were managers 10 + years ago when the job was no where near as time consuming and the company was much smaller. They sugar coat everything and act like they care about you on a personal level but you find out quickly that they really don't care about their employees, especially the managers. That's why they keep burning through them. The pay is nowhere near worth the job discription (which is 7 pages btw). But you'll see that there is a HUGE pay gal between upper and lower management. They drive Lexus's and BMW's while we struggle to pay our bills. The work is constant. You take it home even if you stay an hour and a half late. Your family time goes out the window because you constantly have to watch wait times and make phone calls or send text messages. There are always open shifts. You have to spend hours calling the doctor phone list to find coverage. They are write-up happy beyond reason. BEWARE. This job is awful.
Advice to Senior Management – You MUST change your ways. Surely you've figured out that people can't do this and your company can't grow like this.

Current Employee – been working at CareNow
Pros – Flexible schedule, bonuses, friendly coworkers, free medical treatment at the facility for employee and spouse/dependent, and variable rate payment system.
Cons – Horrible operating hours, very low compensation for work completed, lack of upward mobility within the company, management incompetent, employees treated poorly throughout the company.
Advice to Senior Management – CareNows upper level management within the corporate office should pay more attention to the varying clinics and provide more incentives to being employed with the company.

Former Employee – worked at CareNow
Pros – You get to see a variety of patients
Cons – The patient relationship expectation is below the norm. The hours are unpredicable and hard.
Advice to Senior Management – The feed back process is very impersonal and does not leave room for improvement even though it is sugar coated with a tone of wanting to help.

Former Employee – worked at CareNow
Pros – You learn a lot, training is very well done, flexible schedules, great bonuses (if you qualify for them), and a real sense of comradely between the other members of the clinic.
Cons – Low, low, low pay ($2-$4 lower than their competitors), and upper management really doesn't understand what it's like to be "in the trenches," so to speak. They demand things that are impossible to do and simply have no grasp of what it's like to work at the clinic level.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to feedback from your employees, ask for feedback, and then do whatever you can to fulfill their requests!
