    Pros

The staff are energetic, proactive, attentive and considerate. The system organization and collaboration has been a welcome change from previous employers.

    Cons

As a contractor new to the company, there were too many time consuming clarifications and back and forth difficulties in the initial set up process.

    Pros

It took them 5+ months to give me the job they offered me, but i got it and have it now.

    Cons

not a lot of follow up after hired

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Speed up the process and if you offer benefits actually provide the necessary info. I'm on my own insurance since I never got the info I needed to check out yours.

    Pros

    Competitive Hourly Rate -
    Friendly Recruiters -
    Great Communication From Management -
    Weekly Pay -

    Cons

I worked in the school systems and at the beginning of each school year, I sometimes would not have a job! I would be told that the school didnt renew their contract with CareerStaff, etc. It was very nerve wrecking because I had bills to pay! ... In the end of the day they were able to get me a job while I worked there BUT WHO WANTS TO DEAL WITH THAT? PLUS...NO SUMMER PAY FOR my job position! (SLPA)

Also Insurance benefits were not great, but were ok.

    Pros

I really like the flexibility they offer, and the opportunities to work at different settings. I always bring a best practice away from the facilities they put me at. I also really like the benefit plan ( way better than their competitors), and the pay is really good.

    Cons

I wish they had more offices, I think they have 35 but my hometown is St. Paul MN and would love to go and work for CSU when I visit my parents.

Former Employee - Staffing Manager in Brentwood, TN

    Pros

Good bonus structure - Bonus for new hire and quarterly bonus if your office meeting expectations.

    Cons

Lengthy paper only application system difficult to recruit therapists, I'm concerned about their use of stipends and encouraging therapists to use a friend or family member's address to qualify for them. Brentwood/Nashville office was supposed to be rebuilding under new management when I arrived, new manager was the worst manager I have ever had adn then when she left, things continued to go downhill. Luckily I had the opportunity to leave. I still believe that things are going downhill and it will be challenging to replace the lost business and rebuild their reputation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Online applications for therapists, interactive online job postings through website. Get some strong players in the Nashville office with strong guidance.

    Current Employee - Staffing Manager
    Current Employee - Staffing Manager

    Pros

Good place to start in the staffing industry
    Freedom to try new things
Candidate driven instead of customer driven
In my market there aren't a lot of companies who can compete

    Cons

It appears that accounting gets bonuses from not paying the staff bonus
The senior management will implement ideas and then forget about them in a few months
    Not much consistency

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to your local managers
Try and retain people instead of turning and burning
Pay your people what they earn...
