    my experience with Caremark has been a good experience, but lacking when it comes to promotions and pay raises.

    Not a good company to work for.

    ProsOnly pro working for this company is it is close to my home.

    ConsCorporate is only concerned about stock prices. Not employees. No heat. Very dirty, unhealthy work environment. Constantly bullied by management. Threat of loss of job hangs over everyones head, even the very best of workers. Told never to call corporate.

    Advice to Senior ManagementHappy employees are productive employees. You have hard workers, who take pride in their job. The atmosphere robs them of that.

    Terrible Incompetence in IT

    ProsNONE - bad pay, bad director, his boss is even worse and mediocre benefits

    ConsGigantic incompetence and mishandling of resources. Directors have complete disregard to most basic software engineering principles. Management is hell bent on using inept contractors and the whole department managing caremark.com is failing miserably. Internal staff if fleeing the caremark.com portal and more inept contractors come to "do the work"

    Advice to Senior ManagementStop kidding yourself and face the music... You decimated FTEs and incompetence from Sapient is just outrageous.

    It was a terrible time - any situation where a mistake was made with a customer was noted and held against the employee.

    Customer Care Representative (Former Employee) Lees Summit, MO

    ProsReasonable compensation and acceptable benefits were given. Supervisors and other employees were trained to show respect to every person with whom they were in contact.

    ConsCall center attitude was present. Do not make a mistake with a customer. Bathroom breaks had to be
    done between phone calls, if you could get away from the calls.

    Advice to Senior ManagementTrain your managers and supervisors in better employee management techniques. Do not mislead your employees. Tell the truth. Do not give false praise. Employees know when you do this.

    Interview Process Deplorable

    ProsCompany is growing, and stock price is high.

    ConsThe recruiter, the HR person and the interviewer were so RUDE!!!! They do a no notice phone interview, followed by tons of online paperwork they want you to complete before the in person interview followed by a 30 minute interview in THE CAFETERIA followed by never calling you back.
