    I worked at Caritas

    Pros

Excellent opportunity for international relations students to learn about the day-to-day functions of the UN, sit in on important meetings on international security and humanitarian efforts, and a great chance to network with UN member states and NGOs in the field.

    Cons

I do not have any negative comments to say about the opportunity/position.

I worked at Caritas as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Very friendly management. Interesting work that provided intellectual challenging work. Was interesting to work at the United Nations and learn more about the UN.

    Cons

Management could sometimes be disorganized and lacked clear instruction for tasks. Also was hard to understand my foreign boss who didn't speak English very well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Give more specific tasks.

I have been working at Caritas part-time

    Pros

Right place for a career start-up. Management is very patient.
Good job to develop skills of doing a full-time routine in a part-time schedule (twice as less time to meet the deadline).
    Corporate recreational and team-building activities.
Probably, the only pace with no need of HR department. Management is personally involved into employees' issues at and outside workplace.

    Cons

Low compensation due to the part-time schedule.
    Almost no career path.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's hard to give advice to the charity organization, hence will refrain from it.

    Recommends
