    Very good and learning oriented

Research Assistant (Current Employee) Ottawa, ON (Canada)

ProsVery good experience with Carleton as a research assistant in mechanical and aero space engineering department. The project was very exciting.

ConsPay is low but can't blame my professor for that. Limitations with respect to tools and lab equipment due to budgetary issues. Could improve the quality of work by out sourcing some projects and using NRC devices

Overall positive experience even if the pay was a bit subpar

Consultant (Current Employee) Ottawa, ON (Canada)

ProsFlexible schedule, on campus site so easy to get to classes from there, recommend it for students who have long gaps between classes and will be on campus anyways, payments were always on time

ConsThe pay was a bit subpar, a certain lack of professionalism by coworkers and supervisors, have to deal with disrespectful and entitled students

Family-friendly, good work-life balance and benefits, great undergraduate intake

    Assistant Professor (Current Employee)

ProsGreat benefits and recognition of work-life balance.

ConsMaking changes to curriculum offerings as allied to faculty or shifting department interests occur at a glacial pace. Ottawa is expensive to live in as a single earner and stifling in terms of social life.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
