    Avoid Finance, HR & IT!!!

HQ Manager (Current Employee) Copenhagen (Denmark)

ProsFun products, well known and strong brands, flexible working, good home/work balance especially if you have kids, history and heritage, good parties! Nice being part of something many people know of. Good colleagues.

ConsVery little governance and administration, regular knee-jerk cost cutting rounds, ruthless leadership/many disrespectful and deceitful line managers, high staff turnover at all levels including 3 VPs of Group Finance in 5 years; 3 VPs of Group HR in 5 years; 6 VPs of Group IT in 9 years!

Strong tendency to treat symptoms rather than address root causes, especially in inefficient administrative work practices and systems.

No knowledge management so knowledge drain when people leave, resulting in constant re-invention of the wheel and demoralised staff.

Advice to Senior ManagementDefine, implement and embed sustainable administrative processes.

Just stay away from this mess

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Almaty (Kazakhstan)

ProsFree beer from time to time. Competitive salary if you sell yourself well, but even this doesn't worth it

ConsPoor management skills, blaming culture, soviet approach to business, not global company at all, complete mess and whatever is done - done unprofessionally. People are leaving this company and there are reasons for it. Horrible country head office, you don't feel that you are part of successful group

Advice to Senior ManagementThink mid term, not short term. Don't let a bunch of few senior managers to destroy business in this country. Look at staff turnover by departments and you will see where the problem is

ProsGood international company. The leader in the market of Ukraine. Good experience

ConsDictatorship and bureaucracy prospers in this company. It is a lot of remnants from the Soviet enterprises.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe management should be closer to employees.

    Truly fast-moving company

Chief Financial Officer (Former Employee) Tallinn (Estonia)

ProsThey do not stop to think - they do! So they are the first there, as it works out very well with these smart people

ConsWell... sometimes there would be some time needed to think a bit more. But not very often.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe truly international, not just Danish! There should be equal career opportunities for all nationalities.
