TGI Friday's represents everything a poorly performing company does well.

    Pros

    My Friday's paycheck never bounced.

    Cons

Management across the board never met a mirror they didn't like. They talk about values that they don't uphold themselves. They gut the company staff last December to make their bottomline look better for potential investors Today they're High Fiving themselves for being Masters of the Universe. They're hypocrites on their best days and totally incompetent on their worst days. Marketing only knows how to discount, coupon or give product away due to its' lack of intellectual capacity to grasp any other ideas. Operations is way arrogant beyond its restaurant performance level. Try going into a restaurant on a Saturday night where the traffic counts continue to decline. You will still be put on a wait despite the fact there are less customers. Wonder why? I've seen a better food and service at a kennel.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

What advice can you give to the Captain and his staff of the Titanic? I'd advice the passengers to jump ship before you need a life boat.
Wait until the new investment company gets a handle on the business model. Better yet, just call a few franchisees!

    Pros

    Basic Insurance, 401k and benefits.

    Cons

No help from any management to gain success. Very corrupt team of managers. You need to already know everything to work here, and don't trust anyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look into the corruption and poor treatment in Great Lakes Dinning Franchise. They give Fridays a bad name.

    Pros

Easy work, fantastic managers, great coworkers

    Cons

Terrible customers, horrible tips, dirty store, no support for employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your managers better and they'll respect the hell out of you and it will spread to their employees as well. Work on attracting a different type of customer so that your employees are encouraged to upsell and increase sales and productivity because of an incentive.
