Pros
stability , good starting pay , and incentives are ok
Cons
some co workers can be very challenging to work with , but it will be ok in the end
Pros
Travel opportunites are very plentiful
Cons
Budgets are always tight, little room to do anything but maintain status quo
Advice to Senior Management
Have an IT person manage IT
Pros
Great brand in the industry for clients. World leader in travel management with a great network of regional & global colleagues.
Cons
The people are so hard to work with. This company make a seemingly easy task and turn it into a long painful process with many, many internal obstacles to overcome. No leadership or direction leaves everyone wondering what's going on.
Advice to Senior Management
Get new Management, and ditch the current ones. Staff turnover is also ridiculous, maybe if you start paying people what they are worth they wont leave.
Pros
long term employement available if you are a hard worker
Cons
Travel industry is struggling but corporate travel is surviving
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to be efficient, qualified and employee oriented. A positive atmosphere warranty upper management participation and employee encouragement for a job well done.
Pros
Most of the staff was great to work with and very knowledgeable.
Cons
It is a large Company.
Pros
overall CWT is a good company to work for. The executive team are hard working team.
Cons
only problem with my above Pros is your daily operation depends on your managers Daily responses are different from low to mid-managements team.
Advice to Senior Management
consistency and follow through with responses to same questions/inquiries from employees will be greatly appreciated
Pros
Management is friendly and try hard to be helpful. You will be trained well for the job. Fellow employees are highly competent.
Cons
The phones can sometimes be VERY busy. Plan on being attached to your desk for your entire shift. I suppose this should be expected in a call center, but it can be difficult to form any kind of friendship with co-workers.
Pros
There is flexibility for movement within the company from different locations or to another position. They offer time off, personal time, sick time, and substantial vacation.
Cons
Just this past year they finally began giving raises again (they did not for 2+ years) and the ceiling is only 3% max which not many people get. Their health care could be better. The employee has to pay a lot of out of pocket expenses before they're covered and there are not many options. They also just began matching 401k, but only 1%. Also for a travel agency you would expect some airline benefits but there are none.
Pros
Not enough hierachy in the teams
Cons
Not enough famils as other companies
Advice to Senior Management
Encourage works to step up and aim higher
Pros
They provide a good amount of vacation time from the very start.
Cons
You can never take time off when you need it
