Still stuck in the 20th century

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Johnston, RI

I worked at Carpionato Properties full-time for more than a year

ProsBenefits package is decent, central location in RI.

ConsCompany lacks consistent procedures. Chain of command is non-existent. Management staff does not provide annual reviews, constructive criticism or salary increases. Asking for any of these will most likely get you terminated.

A large population of older employees that have been there for years and are very much set in their ways - any change is an uphill battle, most of the time not worth the aggravation. Unable to move past the pen and paper model.

Overall moral is very negative, making for a sometimes hostile working environment. Management turns a blind eye to any strife in the work place.

Advice to Senior ManagementBroaden your horizons, set up basic HR practices, value your employees - after all, without them your business wouldn't be nearly as successful. You are losing those newer employees that could do great things for your company.
