A lot of project to work on.
Serious work attitude.

Directly with Richemont, the matrix company that represents Cartier brand, there is much support, training and communication. Luxurious atmosphere, work/life balance. Comfortable work shifts.
Cons
Current owners from Puerto Rico do not allow space for career growth,not computer oriented, no vision within current trends.
Advice to Senior Management
Please apply directly to Richemont for better management opportunities. Working in an external boutique provides little to no career growth.

The history of the company is great, and the quality of the jewelry is good.
Cons
Things are misrepresented by management, and poorly managed. You need to get everything in writing and do not let them take advantage of you with the schedule. The repair policies are not good; there is major customer dissatisfaction with it.

You need a new manager.
Pros
- many passionate and self-motivated people
- truly a luxury product; easy to have pride in what we sell (cratsmanship, legitimacy, history)
- an International company, with a family feel at times
- good work get's noticed

- upward mobility difficult
- salaries are not competitve with other lucury retailers
- too much constraints from International HQ
- complex politics a la francaise
Advice to Senior Management
need to grow your junior staff with more expediency. Too many go -getters get board waiting for opportunities. If you pay well, people will stay motivated longer, and will not be tempted by the competition. Major changes and issues should be communicated with more transparency within the organization.
