I have been working at Castle Dental full-time

    Pros

Medical insurance, can work at other offices if yours doesn't need you, can transfer internally

    Cons

Raises are almost nonexistent. Lots of changes constantly. Dentist, hygienist, assistants, and office management are not always on the same page. Lack of communication on what is going on. Some offices have older equipment.

    Advice to Management

Keep all employees "in the loop" and not just as a "need to know". Raise pay to help retain employees. Basic values of the company are good but are not being translated down through the system.

    Pros

I enjoyed interacting with the patients, and the Houston doctors are great!

    Cons

There is a "click" like atmosphere. The enviroment is toxic! Each office makes their own rules and if upper management is notified about an issue nothing is done, in some situations the messenger may even be shot! The people are rude to patients, caddy with employees, and too comfortable in their current cushy positions. The doctors are even subjected to shady treatment by upper management and office managers.

    Advice to Management

If you are so concerned about profits, watch your locations more closely! You'd be surprised about what ACTUALLY goes on daily. Time to CLEAN HOUSE!
