Current Employee – been working at Catapult Communications
Pros – Intelligent people, varied, challenging work, and a balanced work-life approach made Catapult a great place to work. Technology was always on the bleeding edge as well.
Cons – The main downsides, though good for a time, were the large number of geographic regions the groups were spread across. Communication was an issue at times, as was general overhead in maintaining relationships across a distance.
Advice to Senior Management – Prior to acquisition by Ixia, the company could have done better trying to more aggressively grow the company. Now, after the acquisition there appears to be some insensitivity to the true core-competencies of the old Catapult crew (engineering and specific sales regions).
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
