I worked at Catholic Charities USA

    Pros

Ability to serve community members in need

    Cons

Managers are unprofessional, unethical and sometimes dishonest.
Upper Management has no knowledge of what goes on behind the scenes with regards to managers / supervisors behaviour
Poor working conditions. Employees are expected to do above average when completing tasks, and also in above average time with little to no facilities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take lower level employees more seriously as they work hard and really drive the success of the programs. Get rid of the attitude that lower level employees are 'just complaining' about everything.

I worked at Catholic Charities USA part-time for more than a year

    Pros

I liked feeling like my job was meaningful and really making a difference in people's lives. The holidays were off and paid. My hours were flexible and reasonable times of the day. My supervisor was great and easy to talk to. There was plenty of support and information available to help with the job.
Nice Christmas party. It was like a family.

    Cons

The pay was not high. I was part time and had no insurance and there was no option in my particular job for full time although there are other jobs that offer full time within Catholic Charities.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow for benefits and raises for employees that have worked a certain amount of time and excel at their job.
