I worked at Catholic Health Services as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    learn of heath systems polite

    Cons

I would say that the communication between the staff needs to be better and strengthen. they seem robotic in he department I was interned in and night i add may not always be the best thing fro someone going into the field for the first time. this can be very intimating and it will discourage others.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    communication needs to be strengthen

I have been working at Catholic Health Services full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The coworkers were incredible, the patients were great, and the facility is beautiful.

    Cons

Rehab management enjoys micromanaging, and being overly critical of their full time employees; instead of focusing on areas of the rehab department that need work including: replacing old equipment/maintaining supplies needed to treat patient's appropriately, and working on employee-managerial symbiosis. Also there is a very small outdated cafeteria that only serves whatever the patients are eating that day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

what for? The Administrator and rehab director protect the managers, even after there have been several complaints from various rehab employees throughout the past 4 years.
