I have been working at Cato Fashions part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

great team, store manager is bubbly which makes the day go by faster, i've been here less than half a year an am moving up. district manager is great too. cute clothes, discount. love it.

    Cons

i can't find comfortable shoes, (which i guess is a personal problem) thursdays are super slow and you're not supposed to be idle so kinda boring on thursdays. and sometimes get scheduled for only two hours in one day.

I worked at Cato Fashions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy job, little stress, 8-5, easy to get promoted if you give effort. Good resume builder that translates easily to other corporate retail environments.

    Cons

Pay far below the industry average, negative culture, lack of maturity and professionalism from some managers.

    Advice to Management

It's no secret that other local corporate retail opportunities pay better and offer a more positive work environment. Good employees dont stick around for a reason. Find a way to improve the culture and pay in order to retain quality people. Stopping unprofessional behavior from management would go a long way in improving the culture.
