    I have been working at Cauley Security Services

    Pros

    Gets the payroll correct and sends uniforms when asked for. Little to no interaction with their office which is both good and bad.

    Cons

    No support from the home office. Little to no concern for training, quality of the uniforms provided is very poor. No benefits even though web site claims they provide them. No raises even after being told by managers there would be increase after set time period.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hold managers accountable for their actions and promises. Upgrade uniform items and don't make it seem your company is so greedy and profit driven.

    I have been working at Cauley Security Services

    Pros

    It was a way to make money through the summer while still being in college
    If you work weekends you can get away with doing homework or playing on your laptop
    Met a lot of great people, especially co-workers

    Cons

    Management can care less about what happens to you
    You are work horse, not a real person
    For how much management complains, they do a terrible job of running the company
    Prepare to have your schedule changed constantly, give up your weekends, and have no social life
    People treat you like garbage. Tenants of the building, management, and even the general public
    The turnover rate is very high and it has a lot to do with the compensation being paid
    Training is terrible

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pay your building managers a higher pay because some of them do a great job and deserve more
    Pay your guards a higher pay because you only get what you pay for, and that is not much
    Management needs to take a step back and look at themselves before they try directing other people on what to do
    Stop being so money hungry and do at least some things beneficial to the workers, not yourselves
    Management lies...Constantly.

    Pros

    Depending on the site you're stationed at there would be opportunities to do school work while on the job. Great for College Students.

    Cons

    Communication company wide was lacking. Even in the event of something that needed to be reported it might take a few hours to get a hold of a supervisor.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Better site managers could vastly improve the overall operation. Offering site managers a better wage would likely bring in better site management.

    Laise faire corporate management style
    Quick correction of payroll mistakes
    Main Office is professional

    Cons

    Benefits on web site are not what is given
    Corporate managers don't want to know problems. Just don't give them any
    You are a number, not a name
    No promotion potential. Won't back employees, but won't backstab them either

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to the workers' concerns; not the advice of corportate account leaders
    Either live up to your web account, or get rid of it
    If you want long serving workers, try offering some sort of benefit (retirement, etc) or treating them as people.
