Pros

Small sized company; can walk through the building and find people you need to communicate with without email or telephone.

Cons

Dysfunctional owner; poor manager; not available to make decisions when needed and then blames the person who had to make the decision. Owner expects people to work above and beyond without ever thanking or acknowledging with a Christmas gift or a bonus. No integrity in business dealings; new or existing. Owner always behind in paying bills; even family members who have done business with Cavaliere Companies have had to sue to get their money. My health insurance was cancelled several times due to nonpayment of premiums. Too many skeptical business dealings.

Advice to Senior Management

The owner needs to take accountability for everything that happens within the company; spend less business time drinking with buddies and potential customers making himself unavailable, and show up for work on time so he doesn't miss important business appointments that are critical to the success of the company.
