I worked at Cbre Investors full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - People are genuinely nice and atmostphere at work is good. Quite a bit socialising after. Senior management supports training courses and professional qualifications. Compensation is about industry average

    Cons

Moving within the company is difficult and sometimes hierarchy is quite strong. However after the merger with ING REIM, this has improved and more opportunities are available.

  5. Enjoyed working there, but hit by recession

    I worked at Cbre Investors

    Pros

    -Family-oriented environment
    -Good work/life balance
-Management was family-oriented and supportive but things may change when they retire

    Cons

-Benefits were lackluster and the worst I've had in my career
-Some groups worked a lot more than others, not sure if they received a better bonus or any recognition for their work
-Some of the asset managers and finance professionals are rude and unprofessional and treatment of accounting staff is sometimes terrible.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reward the individuals that work the longest hours on the more complex funds to give them motivation since they see people leaving early or on time regularly. Keep the family-oriented and supportive environment - if that changes, people will be very unhappy there.

    Recommends
    No opinion of CEO
