Cellco Reviews

Pros
The benefits and pay are the best in the industry. You get great discounts and the company does care about you.
Cons
The reason that I will not make my career at Verizon Wireless is because I don't want to stay in sales for the rest of my life. It is very difficult to move around the company unless you are good friends or are well liked by management. Never mind the great skills that you bring to the company. Promotions are very hard to come by, regardless of what they tell you. Verizon also pushes work/life balance heavily, yet fails to give employees that balance (unless you are out of retail)
Advice to Senior Management
It would be a good idea to evaluate candidates for positions who have held similar positions in other companies. Example: Don't tell someone they are not qualified for indirect account manager simply because they have not had "Verizon" management experience. Take into account that they have other wireless management experience in an indirect environment for several years. At least give them an interview, maybe you will be surprised.
