    Pros

Flexible hours, get items at company cost, good commission structure, great employees, if your store is doing decent, upper management leaves you alone.

    Cons

If you're performing poorly, upper management gets very involved. No training if you're promoted to a store manager.

    Advice to Management

Realize that bad days just happen sometimes. Have a store manager training session.

    Pros

There are no pros to this company owner is based out of Toledo, never has any connections with stores, district managers are not trained in handling employees.

    Cons

They lie at your first interview, on pay structure and opportunities The training is on a webinar concentrating on sales, never trains on working with Verizon's web site nor the out dated equipment.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to district managers, hired intelligent people with a business edge, more training on computer input and phones your webinar course is a joke.

    Pros

    none none none none none

    Cons

I've never heard of a wireless sales job with absolutely no commissions !!! ZERO.. Your on a bonus structure which they make sure you will never ever hit by constantly increasing your goals. Even if you do manage to hit they goal you were told you wont get your bonus. $8 is the going rate for paying your staff. The manager's job is to work them into the grown until they realize we dont pay bonuses and they quit. ZERO benefits..not medical..no 401k..no dental..worst company in America..oh and no phones ever it stock..and the phones in stock are twice the price as customers can get directly from Verizon !!

    Advice to Management

    Sales = Commissions..pay your staff..Pay for benefits..Increase salaries

    Pros

Its a job. That is about it.

    Cons

They say they do not want you to work more than 40 hours but you are consistantly scheduled over that. The commission structure is terrible. If someone hits their personal goal but the entire store does not you may only get .05% commission. Anyone above a store manager position doesn't really seem to care about the sales team. Problems with paychecks are a common occurance. It seems that at least one person from each store does not get paid on time.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of your sales people.

    Pros

    - Owners of the company can be reached by even the lowest level employee. - Schedule is very flexible. - Employee lines are very reasonably priced.

    Cons

    - Even with the owners of the company being very reachable, it would take many, many calls to different higher-ups to get anything for you store, or get any problems resolved. - Most of the communication in the company was done by e-mails. - Some employees would get many write-ups while others were let go without even one write-up. - Sales Associates that are promoted to Store Managers are given no training and no difference in pay.

    Advice to Management

Please make sure that you're in touch with your stores. Make sure if someone asks for something for their store, you do what you can to get it. Be fair with your employees.

    Pros

It was a learning experience. I met some great people, both customers and fellow employees. Manager was great.

    Cons

While I worked there, employees were encouraged to be extremely vague about the truth regarding corporate Verizon's policies in order to secure sales. As an Account Executive, you aren't much more than a number to upper management. No life/work balance.

    Pros

good entry level position for someone looking to further their sales experience.

    Cons

personal commission is based off of everyones performance as a whole.

    Advice to Management

pay should be based on ones own performance not that of the store as a whole.
