    Pros

Scheduling is Flexible to a certain extent. Money is good for the current economy. So far Cellular Sales has stayed ahead of the technology curve. This is huge compared to other big box retailers that are struggling. Positive growth over the past 5 years. New laid out career paths available. A tight nit culture.

    Cons

Initial delay in commission. I think this is normal for most commission careers. The need for more leadership. Just feel that the current leadership is spread thin.

    Advice to Management

Spend more one on one time with current employees.

    Pros

    Unlimited income potential. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

    Charges back.
You have to travel to different stores sometimes far away with no mileage compensation.

    Advice to Management

    Do something about chargebacks.

    Pros

The different types of products gives you plenty of opportunity to make money. Just as any other sales position its what you make of it. You can make as much or as little as your efforts putting forth.

    Cons

The travel in certain districts can be a hassle and bothersome.

    Advice to Management

Keep up with your team as individuals and not as a whole unit at all times

    Pros

Career opportunity, Team work environment, Money potential. Cellular Sales is still a young company that is willing to take new ideas and run with them. Being a cellular sale employee for over 4 years, I have seen a multitude of changes. Some good, some bad. But in the end, this company strives to give people the opportunity to be successful. It is what you make of it.
Sales, there are multiple definitions for the word sales. Cellular Sales allows its reps to grasp every definition. The reps are considered hybrid reps, they are not limited to just one type of sales. Inside, outside, B2B, cold calling, warm calling, referrals, etc.

    Cons

Commission is not for everyone. In the beginning, one must work out the life work balance. Vacation is def the largest Con for me. Currently there is no vacation pay available. To counter that, a rep has to budget their money.

    Advice to Management

The future influences the present just as much as the past.

    Pros

Compared to most jobs, the schedule is very flexible and the money can be good. The people you will work with are all on your team. Overall it is a good job.

    Cons

The administration never seemed to care about the customer. Many people that I know told me that they will never step foot in another cellular sales because of the lack of service. It is all about making money. The worst feeling is having customers come in and tell you they were lied to about the price of a Mifi and you tell them its past 14 days. When you look at who sold it to them, sometimes you know the customer was telling the truth.

    Advice to Management

Care more about the people that walk through the door and stop worrying so much about the money. The money will come when more people want to buy from Cellular Sales. Walmart is what it is today because of caring so much about the customer.

    Pros

    -High commissions
    -No micromanagement
    -Great teamwork
-Help is always there if you need it.

    Cons

Only cons are chargebacks, but most reps are smart as to who they sell to and what they sell, so this is minimized if you pay attention to what you are doing.

    Pros

*Great people to work with from many different backgrounds
*Good place to have on your resume for future jobs
*If you do appointments and sell MIFI's you can earn good money
    *Hours can be flexible

    Cons

    Where to start?
*No chance for advancement unless you were a fratboy with the owner of the company
*Overpriced phones which makes customers upset when they find out what they really could have paid for the device
*Stores are way overstaffed and they keep hiring unqualified people
*RD's are getting rich while some of the best salespeople in the company are starving to support their families
*Commissions are not great when you are on 6-8 person shares, but as far as management is concerned as long as phone sales are good everybody is happy
*If you want to make money you must do unethical things and stab your coworkers in the back

I could go on and say much more about this company but I think I've said enough.

    Advice to Management

Be realistic with your staff and tell them the truth about what they should really expect from this job. I once felt like this was a career to support my family but now I understand that this is a dead end job. The RD's drive $100,000.00 cars and wear $1000.00 suits while the sales reps making them rich are starving to support their families. Stop hiring idiots and flooding the floors. You are losing some of the best salespeople around because you don't care about anyone but yourselves. When I move to greener pastures, I will write a book about my experiences here..........
