I worked at Center Partners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pro's to working here is the pay (base) and incentives are nice. Guaranteed 40 hours. The paid training, nesting and then jump start program are good. Very upbeat and friendly people.

    Cons

Scheduling that splits up your days off (not 2 days in a row). Sometimes feeling stuck or glued to station. (THE 'MAJOR' LAYOFF WASN'T SO NICE EITHER....)

I worked at Center Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

My co-workers were great. That was about the only thing keeping me going everyday.

    Cons

Lack of communication, lack of pay raises, supervisors are more concerned with numbers than the people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with the employees. With T-Mobile eventually moving north, the lack of communication from HR, Upper Management, the Supervisors was horrible. Wonder why attrition was so high? Lack of communication. Quit keeping the employees under a mushroom and expecting them to stay.

I worked at Center Partners full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Excellent supervisor training by the Learning Development Department BEFORE new management came on board.

    Cons

New management sucking company dry - too many "VPs" with great pay - too many agents with poverty level pay. Company very unstructured - - claims to be PCI compliant, but if an in-depth audit was to take place by business clients, they would find many issues. No clear direction or communication. Very little trust among employees and very low moral.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Care about people!

I have been working at Center Partners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Laid back, decent co-workers, nice break rooms. Not a bad place to work if you like to be treated as sub-human and have to ambition in life.

    Cons

Low pay, disorganized management. Clients come and go, so you never know when you might have to be transferred out of state or get laid off

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need to come up with a better way to work around people's schedule. It can't all be about tenure. Some people have children and need to work around child care. Some people take Public Transportation and can't be there at certain times. Oh,

    Long Days, Pushy Sales.

I have been working at Center Partners

    Pros

Always had a great team to work with, great supervisor, always had potlucks, parties, giveaways for sales, etc.

    Cons

was told they would work with my school schedule upon hire, DID NOT. Sales pushy you would get a "talking" to if your sales weren't good or you'd get moved to another HORRIBLE department.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your representatives that work hard with some respect and maybe your turn over wouldn't be so horrible!

It was okay for a call center job.

I worked at Center Partners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Pick your hours, chances for overtime, nice co-workers, extensive training, always opportunities to win stuff.

    Cons

They only "promote from within" but in order to move up you have to be there for a ridiculous amount of time, you either have a really good management, or extremely poor management. The turnover rate is extremely high.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure the managers know exactly what they are doing instead of just promoting them because of how long they have been there.

    Pros

not many other than a paycheck

    Cons

good ole' boys, worse training I have ever seen, execs sitting on their butts in the office resting on their laurels. Stated that when I left in '12 that the IF center was gonna fold if they didn't get another account there because the Sony account could fall,... and it did!!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

pay your people a living wage and force people to do the job they were hired for, eliminate the politics.

I have been working at Center Partners full-time for less than a year

    Pros

People care about each other and managers invest in their employees. Generally laid back environment that focuses on results. If you are good at what you do they will recognize that and try to prepare you for management, mentorship, training, etc. Very flexible with hours and what's going on personally.

    Cons

Obsession with hitting numbers rather than solving the customer's problems - kind of the nature of the business though. They hire too many people who will probably not be able to succeed so there's kind of a high washout rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep focusing on that your employees and the people calling them on real people. Don't hire people who have a low chance of success - that's disruptive to their lives and the workplace.
