    Corporate Culture in IT

    IT Team Lead (Current Employee)
    Houston, TX

Prossecure job, once hired as full time it is very difficult to get fired; takes an illegal act - not the whim of a manager.

Constoo much micro-management, very stressful - expectations are that you are available by email 24x7 - including all weekends & holidays.

very antiquatated, regressive culture. Most staff have 25 to 35 years of seniority and they weild that over you. The mindset is very much "union" at all levels and they will not waver or vary from "treating everyone the same" - yet FAVORITISM IS RAMPANT!

Advice to Senior Managementtakes years and like all other companies, you must be favored or have a "guardian angel" helping you

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
