Current Employee – been working at Central Connecticut State University
Pros – My job is ridiculously easy
Cons – My boss is ridiculously hard to work with
Advice to Senior Management – Lay off on things like maintaining a name tag at all times. It's required that you introduce yourself to the client regardless.

Pros – It is convenient to work on campus for students and get their work-study award.
Cons – Student employees get little to no respect and make minimum wage. Students also can't get hired without work study.
Advice to Senior Management – Respect student workers. Don't discriminate, treat them as if they were any
Other employee, whether bad or good.

Current Employee – been working at Central Connecticut State University
Pros – I worked as a CO-OP for the organization for 6 months. My pay was $16/hr. My boss and all the management above him were easy to get a hold of and talk to. I did not receive benefits but my co-workers who were full time employees received great benefits.
Cons – I saw no problems being a CO-OP. Politics within the organization seemed a bit frustrating as a full-timer.
Advice to Senior Management – To keep doing what you are doing.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

Current Employee – been working at Central Connecticut State University
Pros – Small school with sufficient resources for a wide range of scholarly activity. Most departments have a good support system to allow for professional growth and help with new classes.
Cons – Too expensive and/or dangerous to live in surrounding communities, and not compensated accordingly.
Expect $1000+ rent, $500+ heating, high taxes, Expensive Benefits, etc.
Benefits and pay don't start until start of second month.
Advice to Senior Management – Survey cost of living to pay accordingly. Start pay and benefits immediately - don't let your new hires go broke their first semester. Create a new hire package that provides information on communities that includes housing costs, school information, crime statistics, and commute to CCSU.

Pros – easy and flexiable,
sometimes can simply ask for leave early
It you don't have any other job, this may be the one you like.
Cons – Wage too low, rarely have any benefits, sometimes very boring. Takes time and don't get paid much. Just a OK job
