I have been working at Central Michigan University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great research opportunities. Small department provides a good open atmosphere for students and employees alike. Close work with MSU nuclear physics provides excellent research opportunities both at NSCL and on CMU's campus. Growing department

    Cons

Graduate assistants receive a stipend on the low end of the spectrum. It's enough to get by but, not a whole lot else.

I have been working at Central Michigan University (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Working as a student employee allows for extremely centralized work as classes are never far from the workplace.

    Cons

    - Work Hours are capped during the school year to being 50 hrs per two weeks, which can be a hassle for those who can work more than that. Cap is removed during the summer for 80 hrs per two weeks.

    Advice to Management

I do not have any advice for management as they already have everything set out.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay for the student workers and spend the money to get all of the asbestos removed from the campus buildings.
