    Pros

The greatest support staff in the industry. Having a team that is literally there to help you on all back end support is priceless for you when your out being productive. Central Payment has a team for each sales rep that is there to make your life easier by providing the tools and advice at whatever level you need it.

    Cons

The cons are the same as any sales position.... you are the one that has to do the leg work and make it happen. They do absolutely everything except the leg work / in the field work for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you do and strive to provide us with the newest technology and advanced features in the merchant services industry. Keep up the hard work and we'll do the same out here!

    Pros

The money and meeting new people,

    Cons

Had another job and my new customer had problems with the cc machine and she did not want to troubleshoot with tech support. Because of our history, I had to troubleshoot it and resolved the problem, which was the cat5 cable being pulled out if the machine. I had to rethink the part-time opportunity.

    Customer's not keeping appointment.

    Pros

Training facility in Atlanta GA is great. The trainers there are always correcting and allowing one to open up and find ones own way. Pretty upbeat atmosphere and quality of life is what would bring a person there.

    Cons

The only challenge is the phone but that s part of the job. Once you overcome that the rest is history. The field is fun especially if you set good appointments.

Not a true revenue split and lies about lifetime residuals!

    Pros

There aren't many to speak on once compared to the competition.

    Cons

Decent group of guys working at Central Payment but at the end of the day, just follow-order functionaries trying to keep their head down and cover their own behinds with little regard for the extensive effort it takes to be a success in this business. The "bonuses" they throw at you is nothing but Fool's Gold and belies the revenue that you are being cheated out of. Churn-and-burn mentality with regard to sales reps. When they successfully burn you out-they keep the accounts you left behind. Much better companies are out there-find them! I had to sign up with other companies to get successful and really find out what was going on. Be warned.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire some Sales Directors that have actually been successful in the field and stop hiring snake-oil salesman posturing as proven salesmen.

    Pros

Relaxed environment, friendly co-workers, team atmosphere, 9am-5pm hours, company collaboration, residual income after a certain number of accounts are signed (I never got that many...), and good communication throughout management and staff

    Cons

LOTS of cold calling, use of personal vehicle to run appointments (tires, gas, other wear and tear not compensated), pay is spotty (it's all commission...), no compensation for office days or cold calling. If you want to start this job, then you may want to have some money saved up to put toward gas, a GPS system (as many businesses you will go to are small and in the middle of nowhere), and any other expenses you incur on the road. It's tough to make money at, but apparently if you do it for a while then you will make good residuals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Incorporate a base pay of something to help employees afford the position, train longer than a week or two, and fully explain the sales tactics to employees (so when they are called out by a well-read client, they will know what to say).

    Pros

The company has great bonus programs, great products and services, and the training is exceptional!

    Cons

Your success in this business depends solely on your geographical area!! If you live in a city trapped in the "routine" and "bare mininal is okay" (like a city in the state of mississippi), then your profiting from this company is slim to none.

Also, you have to sign at least 1 merchant each month to receive each month's residual income.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be a way for you to provide more help with the area that your agents are in. Maybe possible leads. Also, agents should not have to make at least 1 signing each month to get the previous month's residuals. At some point and time, you have either signed/been rejected from all possibly clientele within your footprint.

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
