    Pros

Will hire almost anyone even if you have no experience in the past or have no high school or above education. Some of the people you work with are nice and good to make friends with.

    Cons

-Most of the managers are lazy, they just stand and chit chat. They will nag you to help them promote their stupid credits. They should just hire someone to do that for them but they are too cheap to do so. -minimum salary -some of the customers will give you a hard time. They are either racist, think you have an attitude or just plainly dislike you for how you look. -lunch break is only 30 minutes for cashier and stocks, maybe longer for manager +. It takes 5-8 min to get out and back into the store. 2-10 minutes to get your order, depending if there's any line. Probably best to bring your own lunch if you want an actual breather break.

    Advice to Management

Cashiers and stocks does almost ALL of the work while managers and higher barely does anything. Cashier and stocks should be paid more, even though most are hire for a desperate job but they work there butt off. We get stressed everyday not only do we have to deal with the customers but the managers as well as CLEANING. You are lucky if you do not get sick per month. If you are sick and ask for more than a day off they will give you grief.

    Pros

Some of the best reasons for working at century 21 is the benefits they give you . Century 21 is a store that you can retire from.

    Cons

Some of the downfalls in century 21 is that they are not flexible with your hours . The management in the store I worked in weren't the best managers .

    Pros

C21 is a family-like corporate culture and the atmosphere is overall positive. They are loyal to their employees if you are loyal to them.

    Cons

The benefits are expensive, especially if you have a family. Training is not formalized. It is kind of whoever shows you something is when you get trained.

    Advice to Management

The benefits and pay need to be reevaluated. The insurance is barely affordable for a single person and forget it of you have a whole family on the insurance.

    Pros

A lot of involvement with buyer. Given resources to learn and handle things on own.

    Cons

No advancement opportunity. Divisional Merchandise Managers are not involved with assistants and offer no guidance and are often abrupt with both buyers and assistants.

    Pros

You will learn how to deal with back stabbing inept supervisors who are only nice to their favorite people.

    Cons

Useless Union, in over a year never had 1 union rep approach anyone on the floor to speak to anyone about the working conditions or other issues in the store. They don't want to hear from us, they just want to take our union dues.

    Advice to Management

You have no idea what is going on the floor, it is hurting your business to loose your best workers from the constant back stabbing and favoritism of your supervisors.

    Pros

Co-workers are cool Flexible hours Can't think of another pro

    Cons

Pay Annoying upper management Not enough hours

    Advice to Management

They expect too much from you for the pay. Employee hours reduced significantly due to "bad business." Upper management has no respect for team members. You get $9.19 deducted from every single check for "union duties" but I've witnessed people get fired for dumb reasons, you pretty much pay the Union for NOTHING! You also have to follow dumb rules that make you feel like you're in High school. Terrible place to work at, STAY AWAY!!!
