I worked at CenturyLink full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Compensation is ok for the valley. You have your own work space. The break schedule is usually good. Co-workers were nice and there wasn't a lot of gossip

    Cons

The tiniest infraction can cost you your job. The union is worthless. They don't actually care about employees welfare (despite the claims). The policies shift often. Lots of pressure to hit goals and little feedback on how to do it.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

Constantly changing job requirements; employees not valued; management has no idea what front line employees face.

I have been working at CenturyLink full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Good benefits in union areas; but they lay off union employees.

    Cons

You can rise up the ladder, but they layoff and fire supervisors quite often. If you value job security, stay away.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

At least ACT like you care about employees.

I have been working at CenturyLink

    Pros

Great benefits, time off and relaxed dress

    Cons

Every move you make all day everyday is monitored and measured (call length, offering every product, how long between calls, how call flow went, breaks are measured to the second and tardies are the most common problem to get fired for)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Relax
