I have been working at Certis CISCO full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

From the very beginning it was very good, they treat us like some taken care babies and given us lots of opportunity to go on course and improve ourselves.

    Cons

After course we are deploy to individual location to provide our service to customers. That is where the problem start coming up, once I’m deployed to the unit and fixed in there, I need to manage everything including paper work, system, equipment, peoples and etc by myself. Honestly, base on Cisco management I would have leave the company on the day I step in, reason why I am stay long is because my customer treat me well like their family member. What Cisco do is want me to get this, get that done and sometime it could be more ridiculous that I only have 24hours to get something done when it actually given a time fame of 7days. The workload is more than 100% including what higher level needed from me, and when any small little things goes wrong, I will get a dog bark scolding for it (even it is not your fault). I’m not those people that will take in unreasonable stuff and keep it silent, I did to the extent on approved our director but nothing much seem to be solved. My customers tried to save me by giving me lesser load and motivate me to stay longer as they really appreciate my service. After suffering a year and staying with Cisco as a good boy my incentive was VOID! Manager said that “MY PERFORMACE IS LOWER THAN AVERAGE AND I ABSENT FOR 3 DAYS THAT’S WHY I’M NOT GETTING MY KPI INCENTIVES.” Well said. As far as I know I never fall sick before, late or take leave. Because of the system/management screw up my incentive was void. This is more like a scam than anything, my friends all got it expect for me, so they just give to people they are comfortable with not base on KIP’s. If you are thinking to be a fitness trainer, kindly drop the idea of joining Cisco as a stepping stone, there is nothing much to learn.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please treat us like company asset rather than Dogs.

    Pros

Very good place to work if you are an ex army regular.
You will be working with the other ex army regulars all with the same mindset.
You will rise far if you know have to butter up the right people.

    Cons

Very political as most of the people and management are at ex army regulars.
Good luck to you if you are on the wrong side of the right people.
If you are marked as the blue eye boy by right people, you will go far.
    Just like the army.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you only listen to what you want to hear, the organisation will not go far.
