Pros – You get to change the world while working independently yet with tremendous support. It's a big family that shares ideas. It combines the best of corporate structure, franchising and entrepeneurship. You can choose which age group to work with. You can choose which type of work to focus on. You can pick your tools and events from a wide range available. You meet some very inspiring people.
Cons – Don't expect financial security, but if you work hard you will have what you need. You'll be very high profile, and expect to learn how to deal with media and exposure quickly. Prepare for criticism of the organization.
Advice to Senior Management – Interact more with all of your people, take the lead instead of following behind the people on the ground.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
Pros – Chabad is a wonderful community to work in, depending heavily on which Rabbi you report to. My Chabad house was wonderful, the rabbi was friendly and accomidating, always willing to listen and very clear about what he expected from me.
Cons – There are some complications regarding religious rules and personal relationships because Chabad is a community organization, so office politics can certainly extend beyond the office.
Advice to Senior Management – Be upfront about your employees' responsibilities, as well as clear about whom they will be reporting to. Despite the obvious importance of acting in the role of a Rabbi as much as a boss, be clear about the boundaries involved.
