Channel 4 Reviews

Pros

Channel 4 has a good reputation in the Nashville community. They are often rated #1 at several time slots or may be a close 2nd to Channel 5. Also, the staff at Channel 4 are all very friendly and helpful when help is needed. The employees all seem to have good relationships with one another. I have not witnessed any cliquey-ness or gossiping.

Cons

As an intern, I have had to direct most of my own learning. While I do get feedback from the reporters I work with, they do not always tell me what is on their mind right away which does not help me to break bad habits early. Plus, they often fail to give specific details about what is expected.

Advice to Senior Management

Pay more attention to what is going on at Channel 4. Don't trust everything consultants tell you.

Pros

The people, atmosphere and lifestyle are about loving what you do and having fun.

Cons

The pay, promotion opportunities and recognition of work are lacking
